Tinting the eyebrows after you have performed a Brow Lamination treatment gives the brows more definition. But what is the best way to do this? And can you do the same with Brow Henna? Read our 6 pro tips and improve every Brow Lamination.

Brow Lamination is a great treatment to make eyebrows appear fuller . As the hairs are styled and fixed up and to the side, the brows appear wider, focusing on the hairs.
To then make them appear even tighter, it is nice to also dye the brows after a Brow Lamination. Especially if the hairs are naturally light, or if the brows are missing some hairs. Especially in the latter case, it is nice if you leave the paint a haze on the skin as well.
Here's how to dye laminated brows: 6 tips.
1. Use a color that is not too dark.
With Brow Lamination - unlike with Henna Brows - the focus is on the hairs. The intention is not to tint the skin so dark that it becomes a block. Therefore, choose a color that is not too dark, so that there remains some contrast between the hairs and the skin.
2. Go for Hybrid Dye.
We are often asked: can you combine Brow Lamination with Henna Brows. We do not recommend this because it is more likely to cause an allergy. What you can use, however, is Hybrid Dye. This gel-based tint is also super easy to apply.
Oat is a great color to combine with Brow Lamination if you only want the hairs dyed, as this color gives a minimal imprint on the skin. If you also want an imprint on the skin, choose Choco or Espresso, or a mix of Choco and Oat, or Espresso and Oat.
3. Dye after step 2.
Are you going to dye your eyebrows after Brow Lamination? Then do this after step 2. So after you remove the Fixing Cream or Neutralizing Lotion. Then pat the brows dry thoroughly, and the dyeing can begin. After dyeing, it's time for a mask (for example with Keratin Complex), and then apply step 3.
4. Don't leave the dye on too long.
Perhaps one of the most important tips: don't leave the dye on too long! Because the hair has just undergone a chemical treatment, the hair cuticles are still wide open. This causes the dye to be absorbed like a sponge, which can cause the hair to darken very quickly.
So in addition to using a color that is not too dark in combination with Brow Lamination, only leave the paint on for about 4-5 minutes . What can also help: use a 3% Oxidant, instead of the Hybrid Dye Developer, which is just a little stronger.
5. Extra care.
We are becoming increasingly aware that eyebrows also need proper care. Especially brows that get regular Brow Lamination cannot do without extra nourishment.
That's why there is Keratin Complex, to make the hairs stronger. Use it as a mask after dyeing, and leave on for 5-10 minutes. You finish the treatment with step 3. By the way, our newest Lash Filler with hyaluron is also super suitable for eyebrows. Because honestly, they're all hairs that go through various treatments.
For extra care, advise clients - who regularly do Brow Lamination - to use Keratin Complex (available in inexpensive bundles) every day. Not only caring, it also makes the hairs nice and shiny.
6. Finishing touch with highlighter.
The best finishing touch after a Brow Lamination is still to apply Highlighter under the brows. This makes the underside look even tighter, turning that eyebrow into a real showstopper.
For this we have the Highlighter Pencil in 3 colors. The most convenient way to apply the Highlighter is with a flat brush.
The Highlighter Pencil is also available in an inexpensive bundle. This way you can resell the pencil with a fine margin, and your client can apply Highlighter to her brows every day herself.
