Hybrid Dye Of German Quality
At Mrs. Highbrow, we're always ahead of the game when it comes to trends. We were the first to introduce a real brow bar in the Netherlands and our brand, Dyotics, was one of the first brow henna brands. Unfortunately, the development of our new Hybrid Dye took a bit longer. However, we never compromise on quality and we searched extensively for the best supplier.
We hope you are as happy with Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye as we are. So that you can perform even better.
Dye With Henna Effect
Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye is an eyebrow dye, but gives a henna and/or tattoo effect. But what sets it apart from Brow Henna?
-
The effect. Hybrid Dye typically lasts up to 7 days on the skin, while Brow Henna lasts a bit longer.
- The structure. Brow Henna is a powder that you mix with water or Treatment Enhancer, while Hybrid Dye has a gel-like texture and is mixed with Developer.
- The colors. Hybrid Dye is generally considered to have warmer tones, while Brow Henna has cooler tones.
The 6 Colors Of Hybrid Dye
Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye comes in 6 beautiful shades, from light brown to almost black. The colors are ready to use, but you can also mix them together. In fact, Dove and Auburn in particular are true blending colors. To make a color cooler (Dove), or warmer (Auburn). The darker colors Espresso and Midnight can be used very well to make other shades slightly darker.
Mix the Hybrid Dye with the special Developer in a ratio of 1:1 (for 1 pair of eyebrows, use about the size of a pea). But want the color more intense and an even better imprint on the skin? Then use the ratio 2:1, using twice as much Dye as Developer.
Oat: Subtle Tan
The shade Oat is a beautiful light brown, dark blonde shade. Perfect for light skin and very light brows. Note: Oat gives a somewhat lesser imprint on the skin. Therefore, this color is great for anyone who does not want their brows too dark. The color is also ideal to combine with Brow Lamination.
Dove: Dark Ash Blonde
Looks great on blondes who love dark, ashy brows. Or anyone with brown hair who likes cool brows.
Mix-tip: use Oat to make the other colors cooler.
Auburn: Intense Red
Reddish-brown color, perfect for redheads and anyone with warm-brown brows who likes hot brown brows.
Mix-tip: use Auburn to make the other colors warmer.
Choco: With a Touch of Warmth.
Medium brown shade that is actually suitable for everyone. Blondes who like really dark brows, or toned types who don't want too dark.
Espresso: Intense Dark Brown
Dark brown shade for men and women with dark to black hair and (lightly) toned skin.
Midnight: Almost Black
Midnight is an almost black color, especially for dark skin. It won't darken already black eyebrow hairs, of course, but it does create a clear imprint on the skin.
Mix-tip: a dip of Dove will make the color just a little less intense.
Hybrid Dye & Brow Lamination
At Mrs.Highbrow we do not recommend using henna during - or shortly after - the Brow Lamination process. Simply because the effect is often too much. With Brow Lamination you want to see clearly those beautiful brushed-up hairs, while with henna brows you want an imprint on the skin.
However, it is nice to dye the hairs during a Brow Lamination. And this can be done with Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye! The color Oat is perfect for this. This is because it is the lightest color and therefore (very) light on the skin. Ideal during a Brow Lamination treatment. Keep in mind that the Hybrid Dye has a shorter application time than usual. This is because the hairs have already been treated and will absorb the dye quickly.
