Hybrid brows is the latest trend in the eyebrow field. The dye is gel-based and colors not only the eyebrows, like regular dye, but also the skin underneath.
Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye is exclusively developed in Germany and is of high quality. The dye has a gel structure and you mix it with the special Developer into a creamy paste. Hybrid Dye applies very easily, and should soak in for 10 to 15 minutes at most. When done properly, the dye leaves an imprint on the skin, which remains visible for at least 7 days, provided the client takes good care of the brows. As as result the eyebrows will stay razor-sharp and all the while the client does not need eyebrow makeup.
Hybrid Dye vs. Henna Brows
The effect of Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye is very similar to that of brow henna. But what exactly is the difference?
- Brow Henna a powder that you have to mix with water or Treatment Enhancer, Hybrid Dye has a gel structure and you mix it with with Developer (peroxide).
- Hybrid Dye lasts about 7 days on the skin, Brow Henna generally a little longer.
- Hybrid Dye is generally perceived as slightly warmer, Brow Henna slightly cooler.
Important: This is how you mix Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye
You mix Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye with the special Developer. Mix 1 part Hybrid Dye with 1 part Developer. For a more intense effect, the ratio is 2:1. In other words, 2 parts dye with 1 part Developer.
Note: other brands of oxidant combined with Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye will not give the same effect!
Hybrid Dye: Mix & Match
Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye is ready to use. In particular, you will often use the colors Oat, Choco and Espresso this way. And Oat is perfect for combining with Brow Lamination. The shades Dove, Auburn and Raven are real mix colors, although you can also use them unblended. Dove to make shades cooler, Auburn to add warmth and Midnight to make the other shades more intens.
Oat: Subtle Brown Tint
Oat is a beautiful light brown, dark blonde shade. Perfect for light skin and very light brows. Note: Oat gives a somewhat lesser skin stain. Therefore, this color is great for anyone who does not want their brows too dark. And the color is perfect to combine with brow lamination. Just leave the dye on for a maximum of 5 minutes.
Mix-tip: want Oat a little darker and more on the skin? Then mix with a hint of Dove.
Dove: Dark Ash Blonde
Hybrid Dye Dove is not as gray as the color code suggests. It's primarily an ash shade that looks great on blondes who love dark, ashy brows. Or anyone with brown hair who likes cool brows.
Mix-tip: Dove still a little too gray? Mix it with Choco.
Auburn: Intense Red
Auburn is a reddish-brown color, perfect for redheads and anyone who likes warm brown brows.
Mix-tip: Use Hybrid Dye Auburn to add some warmth to the other colors.
Choco: With a Touch of Warmth
Choco is a medium brown shade that is actually suitable for everyone. Blondes who like really dark brows, or toned types who don't want too dark.
Mix-tip: With a bit of Auburn, you can turn it into a warm brown. With a touch of Dove, the color becomes cooler.
Espresso: Intense Dark Brown
Hybrid Dye Espresso is a dark brown shade, for women and men with dark to black hair and a (light) colored skin.
Mix-tip: Make Espresso even more intense with a touch of Midnight.
Midnight: Almost Black
Midnight is an almost black color especially for dark skin. It won't darken eyebrow hairs that are already black, of course, but it does create a clear stain on the skin.
Mix-tip: A dip of Hybrid Dye Dove will make Midnight just a little less intense.
