By Ska van Buren

We know you're constantly working to take your brow game to the next level. Product knowledge as well as the best storage methods is an important part of that. Whether it's Brow Henna, Hybrid Dye, PowerStain, Brow Lamination, Lash Lift or Wax, proper storage and adherence to expiration dates can make a world of difference.

Cool and Dry Storage: The Golden Rule

To maintain the strength and quality of your Mrs.Highbrow products, it is essential to store them in a cool and dry place. Consider a cabinet or drawer away from direct sunlight and moisture. This helps prevent the products from being exposed to fluctuations in temperature and humidity.

PRO-Tip: Preferably store the products at room temperature, as extreme heat or cold can affect the formulas, and shorten the shelf life.

By observing proper storage tips, your Mrs.Highbrow products will last longer and continue to deliver great results.

Shelf Life After Opening: Knowledge is Power

We guarantee high quality products with super good results. But keep in mind the shelf life after opening. If it has expired, your products may not work as well. Then you can create such beautiful work, with henna that is past its expiration date, your client will not get that long-lasting imprint on the skin. Unopened products have a shelf life of up to 3 years.

Shelf Life After Opening

Brow Henna, Hybrid Dye, PowerStain: 6 months

Brow Lamination in pens: 3 months

Lash Lift in pumps: 3 months.

Lash & Brow Lift in pouches: 24 hours

Wax: 12 months

Contour Paste: 12 months

Get Set & Cool Down: 12 months
Skin Prep Lotion, Treatment Enhancer & Tint Remover: 12 months

Lash & Brow Adhesive: 12 months
Keratin Complex, Lash Filler & Repair Serum: 6 months

Why is the product no longer working properly?

Three common problems, and the remedy!

1. MY BROW HENNA ISN'T GIVING A GOOD STAIN ANYMORE.

Are you just not getting a good print on the skin? And do your clients complain that the color has disappeared after only two days?

Chances are your henna is expired. If a pot has been open for more than 6 months, the active substances lose their strength. This under the influence of oxygen.

Of course it is a pity to throw away a pot that is not used up yet. But it is even more unpleasant when customers complain and you have to redo the treatment. Now that's expensive!

2. MY HYBRID DYE DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY ANYMORE.

You're a super big fan of Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye, but suddenly the dye doesn't give off good color anymore, even though that same tube worked so well before.

Chances are the paint is past its date. But it could also be that your tubes have gotten too hot. Always keep them in a dark cool place, away from sunlight.

3. LASH & BROW LAMINATION NO LONGER WORK WELL.

As we mentioned earlier, it's important to store your products in a cool, dark place so they last longer. They should absolutely not be left in the sun.

For Lash Lift and Brow Lamination products, it is also important not to apply them too cold. Is it winter and colder in your salon? Then an elevator may not work as well. So make sure the lotions are first at room temperature (about 20 degrees) before using them.

And check carefully: hasn't the package been opened more than three months ago?

Conclusion

Store all your Mrs.Highbrow products in a cool, dark place.

Each product has a jar and the number of months the product will stay good after opening. Keep this in mind.

Make sure Brow Lamination and Lash Lift products are at room temperature when you use them.
