Preparation

  • Check the brows: The dye works best on brows with sufficient brow hairs. This technique is not suitable for clients with (almost) no brow hairs.
  • Perform an allergy test: Perform an allergy test at least 48 hours before the treatment due to a possible allergy to added PPD. This is a common ingredient in hair dyes that provides long-lasting colour. In very rare cases, it can cause an allergic reaction.
  • Cleanse the brows thoroughly: Use Skin Prep Lotion and remove any residue with Treatment Enhancer. Make sure the skin is completely dry.
  • Brow shaping: Wax or thread the brows if necessary for a precise shape.
  • Map the brows: If necessary, map the brows first with Mapping Thread so you can place the stencils as precisely as possible.

Note: To operate the Airbrush, first press the button at the bottom of the machine. Then press the button on the Airbrush Gun and pull it back. Only then will the device switch on.

Choose the right colour for your client

  • Desert Sand: Light brown shade, ideal for a subtle brow colour.
  • Muddy Mocha: Neutral brown shade, neither too warm nor too cool, ideal for a natural look.
  • Coffee Bean: Dark brown shade, perfect for dark hair and lightly tanned to tanned skin.
  • Velvet Noir: Deep black-brown shade, suitable for darker skin types and a defined stain on the skin.

Important: Only use liquid dye and oxidant, such as Mrs.Highbrow PowerStain and Airbrush Activator. Other products may clog the Airbrush.

Cleaning after each treatment: Rinse the Airbrush Gun with water or airbrush cleaner using the bubble technique to prevent clogging.

Warranty: The Airbrush Machine comes with a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover improper cleaning or misuse.

How To Use.

Step-by-step instructions for perfect results.

Results vary from person to person,
depending on hair, skin, and technique.

  • Step 1

    Clean the brows well with Skin Prep Lotion, for example, dry the skin well and apply the stencils.

  • Step 2

    Put 6-10 drops of PowerStain with 6-10 drops of Airbrush Activator in the cup.

  • Step 3

    Hold a cotton ball against the nozzle, depress the trigger on the gun and slowly pull it back. Let the liquid bubble for about 10 sec.

  • Step 4

    Apply a first coat, using long gentle strokes. Keep the roots clear. Allow the first coat to dry for 5 minutes.

  • Step 5

    Repeat three times on both eyebrows. Only on the last layer do you include the roots as well.

  • Step 6

    After the paint has soaked in for a total of about 15-20 min, carefully remove the stencils.

  • Step 7

    It is best to remove the stencils with tweezers.

  • Step 8

    Remove the paint with damp cotton balls with tap water. Remove any patches of paint outside the mold with a cotton ball with Tint Remover.

Why won’t my airbrush device turn on?

Using the airbrush for the first time? Make sure to fully charge it for at least 1.5 hours before use.

To turn on the airbrush:

  • Press the button on the bottom of the device
  • Hold down the metal button on the gun while pulling it backwards at the same time

Also check if there is enough product in the cup. We recommend starting with 6 to 10 drops of dye and 6 to 10 drops of Activator.

The airbrush comes with a 6 month warranty on the body only, not on the gun. The lifespan of your airbrush strongly depends on proper maintenance. Make sure to clean the device thoroughly after every treatment and at the end of each day.

How does the airbrush device work?

When you initially begin using the airbrush, it's crucial to charge it for at least 1.5 hours. After charging, follow these steps to turn on the airbrush:

  1. Press the button located on the bottom of the machine.
  2. Simultaneously press the metal button on the gun while pulling it back.

In what proportion do you mix PowerStain and Airbrush Activator?

For PowerStain Airbrush, use a 1:1 ratio. Mix 1 drop of PowerStain with 1 drop of Airbrush Activator in the airbrush cup.

Let the mixture bubble for about 10 seconds so the formula blends properly. Then spray onto a cotton pad first to check the thickness and coverage.

Some specialists prefer working with a slightly different ratio, depending on the desired coverage and personal preference. We recommend starting with the standard 1:1 ratio first.
