1. APPLICABILITY
These terms and conditions apply to orders placed on www.mrshighbrow.com (the "Website") by professionals worldwide. Please ensure that you carefully read these terms and conditions. It is important that you regularly check for updates. We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions from time to time.
2. PRODUCT USE
Our products may only be used in the manner described in the user manual. And may only be used by professionals. It is very important to always test customers for allergies. Mrs.Highbrow is not responsible for the improper use of the products, and the consequences thereof, such as allergies or skin damage.
3. ORDERS ON THE WEBSITE
3.1 Who can order
To place an order on the Website, you must be a professional beauty therapist or reseller
3.2 How to order
We require you to provide us with an e-mail address to place an order. You may need to set your browser to accept cookies and pop-ups in order to be able to use all the functionalities of the Website such as adding items to your shopping cart and submitting your order. For more information we refer to our Privacy and Cookie Policy. When you submit an order we will send you an email confirming that the Products have been shipped ("Order Confirmation"). At this point a contract, containing these terms and conditions, comes into existence and is binding between you and us (the "Contract"). We recommend you to print or download a copy of these terms and conditions and the Order Confirmation for future reference. If we are unable to supply you with a product, we will inform you of this in writing and will not process the order.
3.3 Disclaimer
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability, and items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers. Mrs.Highbrow does not guarantee that all items included in the webshop are in stock at the time of your order. In the event that an item is unavailable, Mrs.Highbrow will contact you shortly by phone or by e-mail. We cannot promise that the content of the site is free of inaccuracies or typographical errors at all times. Neither can we guarantee that all information is up-to-date. Mrs.Highbrow may, at any time, amend the content of the site. Although we strive to display the correct texts, images and pricing on the site and webshop, errors may occur. Mrs.Highbrow cannot be held responsible for any damaged caused from using the site or, for that matter, not being able to use the site.
3.4 Our right to reject your order or cancel a Contract
Fulfillment of an order through the Website is subject to availability of the Product or Service. We expressly reserve the right not to accept your order for any reason. We also reserve the right to cancel a Contract by electronic written notice to you in the following situations, without liability for any damage or costs other than repayment of any amount received from you in relation to the cancelled Contract:
- the product is not available or not in stock;
- your billing information is not correct or not verifiable;
- your order is flagged up by our security systems as an unusual order or an order susceptible to fraud;
- your bank transfer payment is not received within 12 calendar days after acceptance of your order;
- there was an error in the price displayed on the Website;
- in the event of misspelling, pricing or other errors or mistakes in the Website information.
4. PRICE/PAYMENT
4.1 Prices & VAT
All products in the webshop are shown without VAT. If you live in the Netherlands, 21% VAT will be added to the price, which you can reclaim from the tax authorities, provided you have a valid VAT number. Do you live within the EU and have a valid VAT number? Then you don't pay VAT during check-out when you enter your VAT number. Do you live outside the EU? Then you do not pay VAT to us, but it is possible that customs charge your shipment with VAT. Mrs.Highbrow is not responsible for any customs duties & taxes incurred within your receiving country.
4.2 Currency
Prices are quoted in Euro, American Dollars or Pounds, depending on your location. If you change the country of delivery while browsing or during check out, prices from that moment may be quoted in a different currency. Please note that changing the country of delivery may have an influence on the price due to a change in currency.
4.3 Payment methods
We accept Ideal, Paypall, Bancontact, Sofortbanking, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro. The payment will be debited from your account when your order is shipped. You confirm that the credit / debit card you use is legally yours or that you are specifically authorized by the owner of the credit / debit card to use it. All credit / debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to approve the payment to Mrs.Highbrow, we are not liable for any delay or non-delivery.Please check the available payment methods for each country under the heading Payment Methods of the Website. We do not accept any method of payment other than those listed. Please do not try to pay by any other way than specified there. If you do, we will not be liable for loss of the payment or any other damages that may result from this action.
4.4 Payment processing
If you pay by credit/debit card, we will deduct the amount due from your account as soon as your order leaves our warehouse. If you pay by bank transfer, we will start delivery (or manufacturing in the case of customized products) after we receive your payment. This may take several days. In the event that no payment has been received within 12 calendar days after you submitted your order, your purchase will automatically be cancelled. Payments can only be processed if the billing information can be verified. We retain title in any product(s) until we have received full payment for such product(s).
4.5 Total price
The total price specified in the final check out screen includes tax and shipping costs. This price will be recorded in the Order Confirmation, which we recommend you print or download for future reference. If paying by credit card, the total amount for your entire order will be reflected on your statement in your local currency. If your local currency is different from the currency in which the prices are quoted, your bank will apply the exchange rate applicable per the date of purchase. Your bank may apply a different exchange rate, which is beyond our control. Please transfer only the exact amount specified on the Order Confirmation, and make individual transfers per order, using the unique reference number stated in your Order Confirmation.
4.6 Price changes
The prices of the products will be as displayed on the Website. Prices may change from time to time, but changes will not affect any order which we have confirmed in an Order Confirmation.
5. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
5.1 Shipping
We ship your order always as soon as possible. Which means within 1-2 days, from Monday to Friday. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the next business day; we do not ship on national holidays. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that collections and deliveries are made at the requested times, Mrs.Highbrow do not accept any responsibility for delays of its service, caused as a result of circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic congestion, delayed flights, security alerts.
5.2 Address
Please make sure your address is correct before placing order. We will not be responsible for incorrect addresses.
6. COURSES
6.1 Register
For our course you can only register online. You are enrolled when the course fee has been paid for. After registration you will receive further information about the course within 5 working days. Courses can only be booked by paying in advance and online.
6.2 Change of date
In case of force majeure, Mrs. Highbrow can decide to cancel the course or change the date. If your course can’t take place, you will be notified as soon as possible. A new date is picked or the participant will be refunded.
6.3 For personal use only
The knowledge gained during a training is meant to be applied in your own salon. It is not permitted to transfer acquired knowledge and practical skills to third parties by organizing courses yourself. Training materials, such as a workbook, may not be multiplied.
6.4 Mrs.Highbrow©
Mrs. Highbrow is a registered brand name, and is protected by law. It is not allowed to offer treatments called Mrs. Highbrow or Highbrow. Or to indicate treatments such as the (Mrs.) Highbrow method, (Mrs.) Highbrow technique, or variations on it.
6.5 Cancellation
Cancellation can only be done by e-mail (hello@mrshighbrow.com). Cancellation is not possible by telephone. If canceled up to 1 week before the start, we will refund the full amount. In case of cancellation within 1 week before the course we cannot refund any of of the tuition fees. Off course the applicant/student may seek a replacement.
6.6 Liability
Mrs.Highbrow is not liable for damage to and / or disappearance / loss of property and goods of course participants. Mrs.Highbrow waives all and any responsibility for how applicant/student performs the treatments after the course itself.
6.7 Trainers
It is also possible that you have followed a course with Mrs.Highbrow products somewhere else. We work together with other trainers. However, they work independently and Mrs.Highbrow is not responsible for the quality of the course.
7. PRODUCTS & USE

8. RETURNS
8.1 Exchange
We only offer refunds. If you would like to exchange an item then we advise you to return the unwanted item and make a new order for the item(s) or color you prefer.
8.2 Return
If you wish to cancel your purchase after receipt of a product, you can return it to us at your own expense if it is not used. Only unopened products in their original condition and in their original packaging are eligible for a refund. If the packaging has been opened and it turns out that the product does not meet your expectations, such as the color, then the product cannot be returned. So be careful when placing orders. The condition for returning the product is that you notify us of this within 24 hours of receipt via webstore@mrshighbrow.com and that you return the product to us within 14 days of receipt. As a customer, you are responsible for the shipping and packaging costs of the returned products. Mrs.Highbrow is not responsible for parcels that are lost during transport to Mrs.Highbrow.It is important to include the following information in the return shipment:
- Name
- Address
- Telephone number
- E-mail address
- Order number
- Name account holder
- (IBAN) Account number
- Reason for return
8.3 Wrong delivery
If you have received (a) product(s) that you did not order, leave the packaging intact. An unwanted product that is nevertheless used or of which the lid or cap has been opened is considered as a product that has been accepted by the customer. The product cannot be returned or exchanged.
8.4 Credit
As soon as the package has been received back in good order, the purchase price - minus the shipping costs (to you and the return costs) - will be credited. The crediting will take place within 14 days after receipt of the return shipment. Keep the proof of return until the purchase amount has been credited.
