What is Brow Lamination and how does it work?
Brow Lamination is a treatment in which the natural brow hairs are styled and set in the desired direction. Special lotions temporarily alter the hair structure, making the hairs easier to shape and style. This creates fuller, lifted and beautifully groomed brows without adding extra hairs.
Which products do I need for Brow Lamination?
For a professional Brow Lamination treatment, you need lifting and fixing lotions, along with a nourishing product for the final step.

Incorrect processing times are one of the most common causes of uneven results.
How do you determine the correct processing time and prevent overprocessing during Brow Lamination?
The correct processing time depends on the thickness, strength and condition of the brow hairs. Fine or previously treated hairs may react more quickly than thick, coarse hairs. Leaving the product on for too long or allowing too little time between treatments can increase the risk of overprocessing.
During the treatment, check the flexibility of the hairs using the Flex Check. Do the hairs move easily and can they be brushed into a new direction without resistance? If so, the Lifting Cream has had enough time to work. Always take previous treatments into account and follow the guidelines for the products you use.

What aftercare is important after Brow Lamination?
Advise your clients to keep their brows as dry as possible for the first 24 hours and avoid rubbing, brow makeup, moisturisers around the brows and high temperatures, such as saunas and steam rooms. Give your clients a spoolie to brush the hairs into the desired direction every day.

Can you combine Brow Lamination with Hybrid Brows?
Yes, Brow Lamination can be combined with Hybrid Brows. Keep in mind that brow hairs may absorb dye more quickly after Brow Lamination, causing the colour to develop darker faster.
When combining the treatments, mix the Hybrid Dye with the 3% Oxidant and use a shorter processing time than for a regular tinting treatment. Check the colour development regularly so you can remove the dye at the right moment.
How often can you repeat Brow Lamination?
Brow Lamination is typically repeated after around 6 to 8 weeks, depending on natural hair growth and the condition of the brow hairs. Before each new treatment, assess whether the hairs are sufficiently strong and healthy, and take any previous chemical treatments into account.
