Hybrid Gel Dye was developed with German precision for professional results. The colour remains visible on the brow hairs for up to 6 weeks and, depending on skin type, leaves a soft imprint on the skin. Mix the dye with the Mrs.Highbrow Developer in a 2:1 ratio for optimal performance.

    Use

    • Clean and degrease the brows: Use Skin Prep Lotion to remove dirt and oils for optimal adhesion of the Hybrid Dye.
    • Also use the Treatment Enhancer for optimal clean skin.
    • Mix the Hybrid Dye with the Developer in a ratio of 2:1 for a more intense color or 1:1 for a more subtle effect.
    • Apply the paint with a brush and work in tight lines. For a natural effect, dye only the hair with a spooling oil.
    • Leave in between 10-15 minutes, depending on the desired intensity.
    • Use the Tint Remover to remove any spots.
    • Remove gently with a damp cotton pad and enjoy the result.

    Create the perfect look for your clients:

    • Oat: Blonde shade, perfect for blondes and natural looks. Note: this color leaves a minimal imprint on the skin, and is really meant for a very subtle result. Mix-tip: combine with Choco for a more intense color on the skin.
    • Dove: Cool ash shade for blondes and brunettes who like ashy brows. Mix-tip: mix with Choco for a less gray finish.
    • Auburn: Warm reddish-brown shade, ideal for redheads. Mix-tip: add to other colors for extra warmth.
    • Choco: Medium brown, suitable for different skin types. Mix-tip: Mix with Auburn for warmer brows or with Dove for a cooler shade.
    • Espresso: Dark brown, perfect for deep, full brows. Mix-tip: Make more intense with a little Midnight.
    • Midnight: Almost black, ideal for dark skin. Also use this shade for dyeing lashes, mixed with a 3% peroxide. Mix-tip: Mix with Dove to slightly soften the intensity.

    Important:

    Use only Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye Developer in combination with Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye. Other activators do not give the same effect and may affect the color.

    How To Use.

    Step-by-step instructions for perfect results.

    Results vary from person to person,
    depending on hair, skin, and technique.

    • Step 1

      Map the eyebrows with Contour Paste first, if necessary, for a barrier between the paint and the skin. For even tighter lines.

    • Step 2

      Mix the Hybrid Dye with Hybrid Dye Developer in a 2:1 ratio: 2 parts paint, 1 part Developer. Mix well and let stand for a while.

    • Step 3

      Start dyeing from 3/4th and work toward the tail. Also go well under the hairs. Both skin and hair should be well covered.

    • Step 4

      Now it's your turn at the roots. Hold the tip of the angeled brush in the direction of the nose, so that you get a nice base.

    • Step 5

      Make the brows even tighter by running a cotton swab with Tint Remover along them.

    • Step 6

      Set the second eyebrow in the same way.

    • Step 7

      Remove the roots of the first eyebrow with a damp cotton swab with tap water, for a nice ombre effect. After 5 min, do the same with the second eyebrow.

    • Step 8

      After another 10 minutes, remove all the paint from the eyebrows with a damp cotton pad.

    What is the difference between Hybrid Dye and Brow Henna?

    Hybrid Dye and Brow Henna create a similar effect: a more intense brow colour with a stain on the skin for a fuller, more defined, almost tattoo-like result.

    The main difference lies in the formula and the way the products are used.

    Brow Henna is a powder that is mixed with water or a Treatment Enhancer. Hybrid Dye, on the other hand, has a gel texture and is mixed with a developer. This creates a different application process and treatment experience.

    There is also a subtle difference in colour tone. Hybrid Dye is often experienced as slightly warmer, while Brow Henna usually has a cooler undertone.

    In addition, Hybrid Dye works very well in combination with treatments such as Brow Lamination, making it extra versatile in the salon.

    Which one you prefer is completely personal. Both systems have their own character, and you only truly experience the difference once you start working with them.

    Does Oat leave almost no stain on the skin?

    Yes, that’s correct. Oat is a very subtle shade and leaves little to no stain on the skin. The colour was developed to create a soft, natural result where the focus is mainly on colouring the brow hairs.

    That’s exactly why Oat works so well in combination with Brow Lamination. Since the brow hairs absorb colour more quickly during this treatment, Oat helps keep the result balanced and prevents the brows from becoming too dark.

    The effect is really all about softly enhancing the hairs.

    The colour isn’t staining the skin well. What could be the reason?

    There are several factors that influence how well Hybrid Dye stains the skin.

    • The chosen shade plays an important role. A lighter shade—such as Oat—is designed for a soft, subtle result and will leave little to no stain on the skin. The effect is primarily focused on colouring the brow hairs.

    • The natural base of the brow also matters. If there are fewer hairs present, the dye has less to hold onto, which can affect the intensity of the result.

    • Skin type is another key factor. On oilier skin, the dye tends to adhere less effectively, meaning the stain may appear lighter or fade more quickly.

    • Preparation is essential. If the skin hasn’t been properly cleansed—leaving traces of oil, make-up or skincare—the dye cannot bind as well.

    • Finally, product freshness plays a role. After opening, Hybrid Dye can gradually lose its strength. After around 6 months, this may begin to affect the result.
