Immediately after the treatment, the skin stain appears at its most intense. This is the peak moment. After that, the colour will gradually fade. This is normal; the skin is constantly renewing itself.
What influences the longevity of Hybrid Dye?
The visibility of
Hybrid Dye is determined by several factors. No skin is the same, and no brow is identical.
1. Skin type
Dry or normal skin generally retains pigment longer than oily skin. With oily skin, sebum production causes the skin stain to fade more quickly.
2. Hair Density
In the case of sparse or thin brows, there is less foundation to build colour on. Hybrid Dye is primarily a hair tint. The skin needs hair in order to “grip” the colour optimally.
3. Aftercare
Intensive cleansing, scrubs, acids (AHA/BHA), retinol or excessive sun exposure accelerate the fading of the skin stain.
4. Lifestyle
Daily exercise, heavy perspiration, swimming or sauna use can affect the longevity of the skin stain.
5. Technique of the specialist
The correct mixing ratio, sufficient processing time and thorough degreasing beforehand make a visible difference.
Why does the result vary per client?
The skin is a living organ. Sebum production,
hormonal balance, skincare routines and lifestyle differ from person to person. This means you can never guarantee a fixed number of days for the skin stain. Sometimes it remains visible for up to seven days; more often it becomes subtler slightly sooner.
- The key is to manage expectations properly.
- Explain that the hair tint forms the foundation.
- Do not let clients focus solely on the intense effect of day one.
