Ideal after a Brow Lamination, when the hairs are brushed up and just need a hint of color for added depth.

PowerStain Cool Mist: Fresh & Refined.

Cool Mist is a light, cool-toned grey shade from the PowerStain line. It leaves only a minimal stain on the skin but gives the brow hairs a fresh look. Perfect for cool-toned clients or anyone who’s nervous about brows looking too dark.

5 Tips For Perfect Hybrid Brows.

With Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye, you create brows that not only tint the hairs but also leave a clean, even stain on the skin. That is, if you follow the right steps. These are the 5 essential tips for flawless results.

1. Clean & Dry Thoroughly.

Use an oil-free cleanser or Skin Prep Lotion to remove all makeup, oil, and cream. Follow with a cotton pad soaked in Treatment Enhancer to wipe away any remaining residue.

Important: Don’t just cleanse the skin, make sure to pat it completely dry before you start. A damp surface will reduce pigment adhesion.

2. Mix In The Right Ratio.

Use the perfect ratio for the ideal texture: 2 parts Hybrid Dye or PowerStain + 1 part Developer.

Stir until smooth. Not too runny (it will bleed), not too thick (it won’t stain the skin properly).

3. Apply A Thick Layer.

For a sharp stain on the skin, it’s important to apply a rich, even layer of dye. Too thin = too little payoff.

Make sure to fully cover the entire brow and keep the edges clean and crisp by going over them with a cotton swab dipped in Tint Remover.

4. Work Thoroughly Underneath The Hairs.

Use an angled brush and apply with precision. Work the product thoroughly underneath the brow hairs to ensure the skin beneath is tinted as well. Especially with fuller brows, it’s important that enough dye reaches the skin for a defined result.

5. Let It Process Long Enough.

Let Hybrid Dye process for 10 to 15 minutes and PowerStain for around 10 minutes, depending on the shade and skin type. Remove the front of the brow after about 5 minutes to create a smooth ombre effect.

Note: The longer the dye sits, the more intense the stain. For oily skin types, a little extra time is recommended. If the skin is very oily, achieving a visible stain may be more difficult.

Pro Tip: Less Hair = Lighter Stain.

For clients with very little brow hair, the dye won’t grip the skin as well. This means it’s not possible to make the brow significantly wider or longer.

Be sure to explain this clearly beforehand, so your client knows exactly what to expect.
