In lash lifting, shields (also known as rods) play a key role in determining the final result. Their shape, material and method of placement directly influence the lift, curl and positioning of the lashes. But when should you choose a rounded rod, a flat shield or a hybrid shape? And when are sticky pads the better option?

Lash Lift Shields Soft & Easy – Hybrid
The Soft & Easy Shields are neither completely flat nor fully rounded, but combine both shapes in one design. Inspired by the well-known Katya Vinog shields.
Effect
These shields create a lifted look with a soft, natural curl. The lashes are lifted from the root without creating an overly rounded effect.
Material
Made from soft, flexible silicone. The material adapts effortlessly to the eye shape and stays comfortably in place on the eyelid without the need for adhesive.
Suitable for
Suitable for almost all eye shapes and lash types. Also ideal for step 2 of the Korean Lash Lift.

Hybrid Shields – Silicone
The soft pink Hybrid Shields are neither flat nor fully rounded and are similar to our bestselling Soft & Easy shields.
Effect
The lashes are beautifully lifted from the root without creating an overly rounded effect. The result is open and refined.
Material
Made from soft, flexible silicone that adapts effortlessly to the eye shape. They stay in place on the eyelid without the need for adhesive on the skin.
Suitable for
Suitable for almost all lash and eye types. Ideal for specialists who want a reliable, go-to option without second guessing.

Sticky Pads – Teardrop Shape
The Sticky Pads feature a teardrop shape, designed to position the lashes tightly and precisely.
Effect
Creates a strong lift from the root without producing an overly rounded curl.
Material
Made from extra-grip silicone. The pads stay securely in place on the skin without adhesive. The lashes also adhere well to the shield, although it is recommended to use Glue Balm, Adhesive or Lifting Powder.
Suitable for
Suitable for short, straight, naturally curved and normal lashes. Ideal for step 2 of the Korean Lash Lift. Less suitable for very long lashes, deep-set eyes or hooded eyelids. Please note: compensators do not adhere to these shields.

Lash Lift Rods – Classic Round
The Classic Round Rods are traditional lash lift rods. A classic tool for professionals working with a soft lifting technique.
Effect
The rounded shape creates an even C-curl along the entire length of the lash.
Material
Made from highly flexible silicone. These rods are secured to the eyelid using adhesive.
Suitable for
Ideal for clients who want a subtle, natural curl without a strong root lift. Suitable for normal to long lashes. Not recommended for lashes that are significantly longer at the outer corners.

Flat Shields – Korean Lash Lift
The Korean Flat Shields are specifically designed for step 1 of the Korean lash lift technique.
Effect
Creates maximum root lift, positioning the lashes straight upwards from the base. Delivers an open, lengthening effect with clear definition.
Material
Made from soft, flexible silicone with a sticky surface. Suitable for glueless techniques.
Suitable for
Ideal for clients who want a strong lift from the root. Can be combined with Lifting Powder.

Cleaning Tip
All shields are reusable and easy to clean.
- Rinse them immediately after use under running water to remove any product residue.
- Soak them in a disinfectant solution, such as Barbicide, following the recommended contact time.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow them to dry completely.
Please note that over time, shields may lose their ability to adhere properly. When this happens, it’s time to replace them.
