Choose Colorful: Always The Right Tint Brow Henna

Mrs.Highbrow Brow Henna comes in six beautiful colors, from blonde to almost black. But when do you choose which shade of henna? And how do the shades turn out on the skin? With the following tips, you can always choose the right shade.

From light to dark, these are the colors Mrs.Highbrow Brow Henna: Honey, Taupe, Hazelnut, Natural Brown, Ash Brown and Raven

When choosing the right color, always look at the brow hairs as well. With naturally full brows, the result will always be darker than thinly set brows. Also, porous hairs absorb more dye than finer hairs, making the result more intense.

Mrs.Highbrow Brow Henna is ready-to-use, but you can also mix the colors together to make a shade warmer or cooler, or lighter or darker.

When choosing the perfect color Brow Henna, there are many things to consider. Does the client have full brows or not? What about hair texture and skin tone? And what does the client themselves want? Is it their first time and do they want subtle henna brows? Or are they a diehard fan and go for a darker look? And last but not least, it's important to check out the different colors of Mrs.Highbrow Brow Henna well.

Mrs.Highbrow Brow Henna Natural Brown Is The Most Popular Color That Suits Almost Everyone.

1. Know The Colors

Mrs.Highbrow Brow Henna comes in six different colors, all of which are fairly cool. Only Hazelnut is warmer, for customers who like warm brown brows, are redheads or have warm skin tones. These are the shades from light to dark:

Honey: A warm blond shade for those with light brows and fair skin. On a warm undertone, it will be more honey-like. Mix it with Taupe for a slightly darker blonde shade. Some brow stylists also use it to make dark colors slightly lighter and warmer.

Taupe: A dark blonde/light brown shade for blonde to dark blonde brows on light to medium skin. Perfect for use on its own. For a cooler and darker shade: mix it with a little Ash Brown.

Hazelnut: The only color with a warm undertone. Ideal for people with red hair, warm undertones or green eyes. It can also be used to make other colors slightly warmer.

Natural Brown: A natural brown effect for eyebrows on light to medium skin. This color is very popular and suits almost everyone. Mixing with other colors is usually not necessary. If you do want to make it more intense and cool, mix it with Ash Brown.

Ash Brown: A dark shade with an ashy and cool undertone for toned to dark skin. If it is too light, add a little Raven. To make Brow Henna Ash Brown slightly lighter, mix it with Natural Brown.

Raven: An extra dark shade especially for women with darker skin. This color is so intense that you won't see much of any blend color. However, you can use Raven to make other colors a little more intense. Really only take a small knife point!

2. Full Or Less Full Brows?

When determining the right Brow Henna color, look not only at the natural color of the eyebrows, but also at the type of eyebrows. After all, the point is precisely to dye not only the eyebrow hairs, but also the skin underneath. However, there must be some amount of hair present for the Brow Henna to adhere properly.
Only a light haze will appear on bare skin, which will also fade quickly.
On the other hand, if someone has naturally very full eyebrows, the result can be quite intense. This is because both the hair and the skin underneath are dyed. So how dark the color ends up being depends very much on the natural fullness of the eyebrows.

Would you use henna on these thinly studded brows, the result will be much lighter than on the model shown here.

3. Check The Skin

Before starting a Henna Brows treatment, it is crucial to look not only at the eyebrow hairs but also at the client's skin!

  • The client's skin tone is important. After all, you want to choose the right color that best suits the skin. For people with light skin, it is important not to use too dark Brow Henna, even if they would like dark brows. On the other hand, it makes no sense to use blonde (Hazelnut) Brow Henna on dark skin.

  • In addition, it is essential to look at the skin type. On dry skin, Brow Henna will adhere well and thus the result will be more intense than on oily skin, where the henna does not pick up as well. In fact, it is not recommended to apply Brow Henna on oily skin to avoid disappointment.

  • A skin with a cool undertone contains less pigment. This skin usually has a pink complexion, is more sensitive and shows redness faster. Often this skin is combined with blue eyes, but darker skins can also have a cool undertone. With cool undertones, ash shades of Brow Henna such as Taupe and Ash Brown fit best.

  • Skin with warm under tones naturally contains more pigment. This skin can range from light to dark, and people with warm undertones often have green or brown eyes. For these people, the color Hazelnut is often very nice. This is the only color of Dyotics Henna with a warm undertone.

PRO-TIP: Check The Eyebrow Hairs Carefully. This Is Because Porous Hairs Absorb The Brow Henna Faster Than Finer Hairs.

4. Structure Of The Hair

When eyebrow hairs are porous, they absorb more color than finer hairs. This means that even with the lightest shade of Brow Henna, Honey, blonde brows can appear very dark. How do you recognize such an eyebrow? These eyebrow hairs are often very light in color, with little pigment, and have a thick texture. They often go along with oily skin. You need to be careful with this type of eyebrow. Leave the Brow Henna on for about 5 minutes and check the result by removing the front part. It may be that the hairs have already been colored very dark, but the henna has not yet been properly absorbed by the skin. In that case, you should remove everything, because your client obviously does not want black Henna Brows. Unfortunately, in this case, there will not be a very present imprint on the skin.

Stiffer hairs can sometimes absorb the Brow Henna extra quickly.

5. Brow Henna Mix & Match.

Dyotics' colors are ready to use. And because there are no less than 6 shades, there is always the perfect color for someone. Want to combine the colors anyway? A lesson in mixing!

  • When mixing, make sure you end up with a total of 1 full scoop of powder. That way you can be sure you don't use too much Brow Henna.

  • Want to make a color darker? Then take a knife tip of this color, to prevent the blend color from overpowering your base color.

  • Do not mix more than 2 colors of Brow Henna together. This makes it unnecessarily complicated, as you can achieve fine results with 2 colors.
