How long does Brow Henna last?
Brow Henna remains visible on the brow hairs for up to 6 weeks. On the skin, the colour gradually fades. The exact longevity depends on factors such as skin type, sebum production, aftercare and the use of skincare products.
Can Brow Henna be used during pregnancy?
We advise against using Brow Henna during pregnancy. Although Brow Henna has not been shown to be harmful to the baby, hormonal changes can make the skin more sensitive. The risk of an allergic reaction may also be different than usual. We therefore recommend postponing the treatment until after pregnancy.
Can the Brow Henna colors be mixed?
Yes, all Brow Henna shades can be mixed together to create the perfect customized color for each client.
Is Brow Henna safe for the skin and brow hairs?
Yes, Brow Henna is safe for the skin and brow hairs when used correctly. As with any colouring product, an allergic reaction may occur. Always carry out a patch test before the treatment. Apply a small amount of a dark Brow Henna shade to the wrist or inside of the elbow, leave it on for 15 minutes and remove with a damp cotton pad. Monitor the area for 48 hours for any reaction, such as redness, itching or a burning sensation. Do not use Brow Henna if a reaction occurs.
What is the difference between Brow Henna and Hybrid Dye?
Brow Henna and Hybrid Dye both colour the brow hairs and the skin, but differ in their formula and application. Brow Henna is a henna-based brow dye, while Hybrid Dye is a professional gel dye. Hybrid Dye can be combined with a Brow Lamination treatment, whereas Brow Henna is not suitable for this. Which treatment is best depends on the desired result and the client’s preference.
Is Brow Henna suitable for every skin type?
Brow Henna can be used on different skin types. Keep in mind that the result on the skin may vary. On oilier skin, for example, the colour may fade more quickly than on normal or dry skin.
