We know you're constantly working to take your brow game to the next level. Product knowledge as well as the best storage methods is an important part of that. Whether it's Brow Henna, Hybrid Dye, PowerStain, Brow Lamination, Lash Lift or Wax, proper storage and adherence to expiration dates can make a world of difference.
Cool and Dry Storage: The Golden Rule
To maintain the strength and quality of your Mrs.Highbrow products, it is essential to store them in a cool and dry place. Consider a cabinet or drawer away from direct sunlight and moisture. This helps prevent the products from being exposed to fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
PRO-Tip: Preferably store the products at room temperature, as extreme heat or cold can affect the formulas, and shorten the shelf life.
By following the right storage tips, your Mrs.Highbrow products will last longer and continue to deliver amazing results.
Knowledge Is Product Power.
We guarantee high quality products with super good results. But keep in mind the shelf life after opening. If it has expired, your products may not work as well. Then you can create such beautiful work, with henna that is past its expiration date, your client will not get that long-lasting imprint on the skin. Unopened products have a shelf life of up to 3 years.
Shelf Life After Opening.

Brow Lamination in pens: 6 months*
Lash Lift in pumps: 6 months*
Lash & Brow Lift in pouches: 24 hours
Wax: 12 months

Skin Prep Lotion, Treatment Enhancer & Tint Remover: 12 months

*Note: This is the maximum shelf life. The more air gets into the product - with every pump or twist - the faster the effectiveness of your Lash Lift bottles and Brow Lamination pens can decrease. That’s why we recommend using them within 3 months when used regularly, to ensure the best results. Not finishing your Lash Lift bottles or Brow Lamination pens within 3 months? Why is the product no longer working properly?
Troubleshooting time: 3 problems, 3 solutions!
1. MY BROW HENNA ISN'T GIVING A GOOD STAIN ANYMORE.
Struggling to get a good skin stain? Color fading after just two days? Chances are, your henna is past its prime. Once a jar has been open for more than 6 months, the active ingredients begin to lose their power — especially when exposed to oxygen.
We get it, tossing a half-full jar feels wasteful. But you know what’s worse? Unhappy clients and having to redo the treatment for free. Now that’s expensive.
2. MY HYBRID DYE DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY ANYMORE.
Obsessed with Mrs.Highbrow Hybrid Dye, but the color suddenly isn’t hitting like it used to? Chances are, your dye has expired. But it could also be heat damage.
Always store your tubes in a cool, dark place - far from sunlight - to keep the formula fresh and your results flawless.
3. LASH & BROW LAMINATION NO LONGER WORK WELL.
As we've mentioned before: always store your products in a cool, dark place to extend their shelf life. Direct sunlight is a big no-no.
When it comes to Lash Lift and Brow Lamination, applying products that are too cold can also impact results. In winter, or if your salon is a bit chilly, make sure your lotions reach room temperature (19–21°C) before use.
And don’t forget to check: was that bottle opened more than three months ago? If so, it might be time for a fresh one.
Conclusion
Store all your Mrs.Highbrow products in a cool, dark place.
Each product has a jar and the number of months the product will stay good after opening. Keep this in mind.
Make sure Brow Lamination and Lash Lift products are at room temperature when you use them.
