Brow lamination is about finesse. About letting the hairs speak and giving the shape room to breathe. Color is not the leading role, but a subtle enhancement that supports the overall result.
Brow Lamination creates brows that appear fuller and wider. On lighter brows, color can strengthen this effect when applied with restraint. Quality does not come from combining treatments, but from the choices you make. Too much color or excessive processing time quickly makes the brow look heavy and blocked.
With Brow Lamination, the focus remains on visible hairs rather than a strong skin stain. Do not be misled by perfectly polished Instagram results.
In daily practice, a brow lamination is often refined with makeup, such as a brow pencil or powder. This is not a correction, but a conscious finishing touch, as long as the foundation is balanced.

Beautiful brow lamination by @tonimcevoy. The color is focused on the hairs rather than the skin, with a subtle touch of concealer beneath the brow for added definition. This keeps the structure open and the individual hairs clearly visible.
The Reality of Colour and Brow Lamination.
After a Brow Lamination treatment, the hairs become more porous and absorb pigment quickly. As a result, the hairs deepen in colour while the skin shows very little staining. This is not a mistake, but a natural effect of brow lamination.
Our guideline is therefore clear.
For a natural result, we recommend:
-
a light shade such as Hybrid Dye Oat
-
mixing with a 3% Oxidant
-
a processing time of four to five minutes
This colours the hairs while keeping the structure of the brow lamination visible.
If a little more definition is desired:
-
mix Oat with Hybrid Dye Choco
-
work with a 3% Oxidant
-
maintain a processing time of four to five minutes
Here too, the focus remains on the hairs, helping to prevent the result from becoming too heavy or overdefined.
Why Henna Is Less Suitable After Brow Lamination.
After the treatment, both the brow hairs and the skin are more sensitive. The hair cuticles are more open, allowing pigment to be absorbed faster and more deeply than usual.
At this stage, henna often works too intensely. It also increases the risk of irritation or, in some cases, allergic reactions.
Why Hybrid Dye Is A Better Match.
Hybrid Dye is better suited to the condition of the hair and skin after Brow Lamination. The formula is milder and carries a lower risk of allergic reactions. In addition, the lightest Hybrid Dye shade, Oat, is more subtle than the lightest Brow Henna shade, Honey, making it easier to maintain a soft, balanced result.

Here too, brow lamination is combined with colour, with the focus kept on the hairs to prevent the result from becoming too dense. By @tonimcevoy.
When To Colour During Brow Lamination.
The moment you apply colour has a direct impact on the final result.
Only Colour Once:
-
the fixing cream from step two has been fully removed
-
the brows are completely dry
After step two, the hairs are fixed in their new direction and become more receptive to pigment. Colouring at this stage allows you to keep the processing time short and prevents the colour from penetrating too deeply. If colour is applied beforehand, much of it will be reduced during the brow lamination process.

Aftercare For Lasting Results.
Brow Lamination is a chemical treatment and requires recovery. Without proper aftercare, the hairs lose elasticity, shine and shape more quickly, regardless of how carefully the treatment was performed.
- Apply a restorative mask such as Keratin Complex immediately after colouring. Leave it on for five minutes, then complete the treatment with Nourishing Serum or Nourishing Gel.
- For home care, clients can use Repair Serum or Keratin Complex daily. Both support the hair structure and help keep the brows looking healthy and well-conditioned.
